RSDH brings extensive experience leading national research and developing technical guidance for organisations such as Austroads, the National Asset Centre of Excellence (NACOE), and road agencies across Australia and New Zealand. That work directly informed road design, safety, and asset management practices, helping road managers adopt consistent, risk-based approaches that improve road design practice, asset management outcomes and network performance.

We specialise in translating complex research into practical tools, frameworks, and policies that can be implemented at a local, state, or national level. We focus on providing applied research that can be translated into technical guidance for immediate implementation.

Our experience is supported by previous representation on the Austroads Road Design Task Force, Standards Australia MS12 Committee, and iRAP/EuroRAP Barriers for Change initiative.  This also ensures our clients benefit from the most current and globally informed best practices in road design and safety management.
