We take a first-principles multidisciplinary approach, evaluating road geometry, intersection layouts and alignment with vehicle performance capabilities and road design parameters to identify constraints and fit-for-purpose measures to facilitate safe heavy vehicle operations. This approach combines road design, safety engineering, and asset management principles to deliver practical solutions that balance network capability, consideration of crash risk, and freight efficiency.
